Wow! That is a great sewing table! Your Dad is a great carpenter. My Dad is also a carpenter & sounds alot like your Dad. He can fix anything or build anything. In his younger years he built houses, cottages, garages & restaurants. When he retired he made alot of furniture for all of us. Now that he is 82 he scroll saws. Makes lots of clocks & other small things. I think you & I have been a bit spoiled! LOL

savour your dad , enjoy each moment as you do. my dad died when i was15 so i envy you your very special closeness to him , i am 73 and still i miss dad. love to you both.

What a wonderful Christmas present and oh so thoughtful. You have a great Dad; please treasure him.

If he would like a holiday in the UK, I will willingly offer him accommodation and all meals if he could turn my tiny sewing room into something like yours!
