Thank you all for your wonderful comments. I am truly blessed and thank God for him everyday! He's big into John Deere (grew up on a farm) so my son Zach and i are going to make him some things for xmas..a pillowcase to take on the boat, some pot holders (since he cooks most of the time when he is home), and hopefully a few other things..I think we will get to work on them today!!

Can I borrow your Dad? Those are fabulous. I want a sewing table, too. You are so lucky.

Your Dad gave you a wonderfully handy table, but more than that he gave you his time and talents to give you joy and so many potential memories, that is, IMHO priceless and the best gift of all.

Hugs to you both- you are both blessed.

That is fantastic cabinet. You are very fortunate to have a dad like that. My husband made me 2 4x8 really nice tables that I put in an L shape but I would love one with places for fabric and built in ironing board. Enjoy

I admire your father greatly. What a wonderful person he must be. A real man, in my book. One who knows what's important. And so talented, too! Calling that piece of art a sewing table just doesn't do it justice. Is that a built-in ironing board I see to the right of your sewing machine? Very clever. I hope you have many years to enjoy your father and your "sewing center".
