this is awesome- if I had a room to devote to sewing I would love to copy you ideas! You've put a lot of thought into storage and use!

Jaynie-I am having trouble typing because of all the drool on my keyboard! Your quilt studio is perfect. I hope you have endless happy hours quilting in there. :-) Thanks for sharing pics with us.

You are so very, very blessed. Don't we all wish for this kind of work space. I have my quilting stuff in 2 rooms= but like everyone else, our love of quilts has us working in Any Area.

Your creativeness is reflected in the walls of your new studio. I bet your photos have been bookmarked more than any other subject matter. Who actually did the designing on paper, did you tell an arcitech what you needed or did you draw it out yourself? Amazing, you could sell the plans. Do you teach anywhere? I am coming to San Antonio soon, how close are you, LOLLL. I have wood flooring samples on top of my carpet now, may I ask what type of flooring did you install, especially under your chairs etc., where there will be much wear and tear?
Beautiful room, I was wondering what views are out your windows?

 Wow! :D My keyboard is covered in drool.....reminds me of my better half looking at the big flat screen tv's for the last two years or so in Sam's Club and everywhere else. And he did just get a new tv ... too bad there's really no room here for me to have a room like yours, even with the kids grown & gone. :)

Your studio is wonderful. Love the idea of the drop leaves on the table.
