 WOW! :D My keyboard is covered in drool.....reminds me of my better half looking at the big flat screen tv's for the last two years or so in Sam's Club and everywhere else. And he did just get a new tv ... too bad there's really no room here for me to have a room like yours, even with the kids grown & gone. :)

Your studio is wonderful. Love the idea of the drop leaves on the table.

    Hahahaha!

And considering that I am only 5 feet tall and weigh about 110 lbs (THANK YOU ancestors!), I should be able to joint Terri and Quilt4U without anyone really noticing!

When we finish our basement I would love to have built-ins and sewing tables like that. You are so very blessed to have the resourses for that space! I am so happy for you! :D :D :D

That is so nice. Me --- I wind up all over the house. I think I sew in about three rooms. I love the way you have your material organized. My is in see through plastic bags and containers. Can't find a thang!

I enjoy reading about studios. Can you please include the dimensions of the rooms? It would give me some encouragement.

I too am so envious of you, but also happy that a fellow quilter has such a nice space to work in. I will be moving into a "new to us" old house after the 1st of the year and hope to be able to "steal" a few of your ideas for one of the upstairs bedrooms/studio. Thanks for sharing the pics. Now get to work!

Jaynie--This has to be the best designed studio ever! Spacious and organized and beauuuuuuutiful. I am fantasizing about a retreat like this and can just see myself loving every bit of it. I hope that you get to enjoy it every single day. A great place to have some quilting friends over, but they might not want to leave. Enjoy!!!!

Let's try this over again! Trying to type in the dark does nothing for my spelling!!!!! Congatulations on your beautiful new sewing room. I love the quilt on your cutting table. Would you be willing to share the pattern? Thanks.

Jaynie, I just have to add my two bits worth, too. I've seen a lot of very nice quilting "studios" on this board but yours tops them all. You should write a book! It looks so well organized and convenient (maybe I will organize my stash TODAY!)
