Default My new WIP - TMNT - Donatello, PaperPiecing

Saw these really cute Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle paper piecing patterns on Craftsy and immediately thought of my super sweet grandson who lives and breathes TMNT. So pull out some fabrics and get it done, right? LOL. Not this time! This first block took me 3 times longer than it should have - far from perfect but CUTE as all get out. I have truly never ripped out one block so much This will be a really fun quilt. I'm looking forward to doing the rest of them, the other 'embellishments' & blocks too. Thanks for looking!

That is really cute and lovable. I hope the rest of the blocks go well. There is always that learning curve!

Really cute block and he will certainly love the quilt when it is finished. I usually have a pp problem if I haven't done any pp in a while. At some point, usually 3 to 6 pieces in to the project, I put the fabric on the wrong way and don't find that until I am finished the block. Hopefully you are now in your groove and will fly through the rest of the blocks.
