Great job drafting the pattern and offering it us. This quilt will be gorgeous.
Hey Rip, just right click on the pdf and in the menu that pops up, click on scan with your virus software and see what happens.

I just clicked on it to save it and then it downloaded and I right clicked and scanned with my virus software and it said it was clean. It could just be your software.

Default Molly

I thought you would get a smile out of this. The other day as I was searching my scrap bin, I sorted out a bunch of strips. I have them in a huge bag on my trunk. This is what I found.......

Molly has a pillow on that same trunk that she is usually on lol.

I lost my Teddy on Monday, he was 16. He was Molly's step brother. He used to sleep under my sewing table and gather my scraps when I sorted and get on top of them lol. I miss his little body, thank goodness I have, Molly, The quilty puppies and Dude (Teddy and Molly's daddy, he is 18).

hi Rosy, I tried it again and I get the same response. I'm using windows and its windows telling me theres a virus. I'll just follow your lead and draft my own.

Thanks for the inspiration and I love that your puppies find your scrap bags comfy. Mine follow me about too and make nests in anyplace they like. They are now my kids, lol.

Rip, sometimes when I come on here it also tells me it's has a virus on the page and I just ignore it. Then it tells me to I can update for more money as I have a free anti virus. I haven't had a problem. If you send me a pm, I will send it you see what happen then.

Rosy, thanks for the offer, but I think I discovered the problem. An auto update disabled by virus software and I had to restore my machine to an earlier date and get new virus software. Now I think I'm good to go.

Ok., now that I have finished my H quilt, I will return to the Pickled Dames (new name for the pickled clam lol). I will be posting the pickles as I make them and posting tips if any.

I wonder how this pickle would look in a larger size? I might make one just to see. It would also be easier to put the collar on since the pickle curve wouldn't be so tight. The smaller the clam, the tighter the curve.

I drafted a bigger pattern, so far with the collar on, it measures 11 inches across. The clam itself measures about 6.5 and the collar about 2 inches, it will finish at 10.5. I like the way it looks and then I won't have to make to many for a quilt lol.

I noticed on my first sample, that the points on each side of the collar weren't right, so I adjusted that already and now have to make another sample to make sure.

I will still finish the smaller ones and use those for a bag of some sort or whatever.

Because of the bigger Clam, I will need to pick some very busy fabrics lol.
