I posted a photo my finished OBW top about a month ago. But I could not find a fabric for the backing that I liked. So, since I had so much fabric left over I decided to "make" the backing from all of the left over fabrics and pieces. I think that it will make an interesting reversible quilt. I actually ended up with only a small 5X6" box of bits and pieces.

I have been practicing FMQ and plan to quilt this top myself.

    It's summer delicious!!

With those few remaining scraps ... maybe a mini wall hanging? or a dresser scarf? or a mug rug?

What a perfect backing for the OBW. My mom used to say, "Use it up, wear it out; make it do or do without". You've really done this in a beautiful way.

A mug rug would be neat to use while drinking tea and admiring your quilt!
