uuhh aahh, almost makes me want to have another little one. NOT!
I love making nursery sets though.
they are adorable,
Patrice, They are not only covers, they are also toys. What baby wouldn't be entertained with those bright colors? They really look great. Keep taking those pics! Betty 8)
Beautiful!! I love your colors, too!

:D
I love baby quilts they are so bright and loving. These are turely beauitful and a new idea for me. I have babies coming out of my ears lately. Was running out of ideas thanks for the new one.
lovely work - nice and bright too.....
Very nice, bright and cheerful, and very nice work,oo la la.
The character blocks came from a couple of pre-printed fabrics for making little girls' sundresses. The shops usually sell out of the skirt fabrics before they do the bolts of bodice patterns. The bodice fabrics end up on sale dirt cheap. The big red circles are machine appliqued over the blank spots where you'd normally have cut out the armholes.
how ingenius you are I looked at the pic and thought the red circles were part of the pattern. Very nice job. I never would have thought of that
Thanks for the compliments. :D
I couldn't bear to waste those panels and didn't want to cut through the characters. Necessity - and cheapness - are the parents of invention.
Now I know where babies REALLY come from! ROFLMAOOriginally Posted by ceannastahr

And aren't you the clever one!!!
if that's the case .... i am in serious trouble. i'm not ready for the dirt nap yet, but i'm waaaaaaaaaaaay past the right age to start makin' babies again. LOL
Two of my nieces are having babies, my nephew's wife is due in april. Son is having his first in May. Two of my best friend daughters are having their first in June and July and I still haven't finished the quilts for the twins born in Dec they come home in 3 weeks hopefuly. Mom held them for the first time on Wednesday they now weigh just over 3 pounds each.
congrats on the twins, who do they belong to?
I'm thinking that these colorful quilts match the maker!
I'm glad I found this link to see that you are talented in quilting as well as words!
thank you. i do love bright colors. my stash is like my wardrobe (or is it the other way 'round? )
Eclectic (my brother keeps saying scatterbrained but I ignore him. He has no hair. LOL)
Lots of different colors. Neons, jewel tones, country, modern, tradtional.
not a brown in the bunch. that's the only color family i buy only when i need it and only what i need for that specific project.
thanks again for the compliment.
:-)
Nice work Patrice and I really like your colors :D
you are one very talented lady. Your colors are great. I never would have thought to use the red. You are hiding your light /talent under a bushel basket!!!!
I agree with all of the above, but Celeste said it all.Originally Posted by Celeste
