The Stripes and Giggles I gave to my nephew right after he got out of the hospital. He is one of 4 boys, and all of his brothers had an Aunt Stacey quilt. He has had one tough year, being 6, he was diagnosed with type one diabetes, and then when he was in the hospital and I gave him the quilt, he started having seizures and it was real bad for a little bit. But he is doing ok now. And when I gave him his quilt, he ran up to his room, and put it on his bed. He uses it every day.
The Stars and Strips is mine, I made it with Simple Abundance fabric by Bonnie and Camille for Moda, which I heart their fabric. (I have a Cotton Blossoms quilt made with their first fabric line, this is their second line, and I just got some of their Bliss fabric to make me another quilt with their third fabric line)
The third quilt that I need to name is for sale to try and make some money to reinvest into my quilting hobby. (that is how I make money to support my habit, my hubby has been out of work since July when he fell at work and broke ribs, so we have not had an income since. He did just get a new job though, which is good, but the only way I can keep quilting and doing what I love is to try and sell things I make)

A new designer in the making..............your quilts are absolutely FANTABULOUS!!! The stars & stripes is my FAVORITE......Will you be selling this pattern in the future??? My hubby is bedridden & a is a vet......I have his (hospital) room done in true Native American (not southwest style) and Americana.... I can just see this quilt done in Americana colors of red, white & blue........... then make matching window treatments.

Your designs are wonderful..............Thanks for sharing with us.
