    I love both of them, and I would alternate the blocks to make it more interesting. Great colors.

    I can't decide. Just curious if there are any other ways they could go together?

    It's like me to want to see every way something could be done and really sweat the decision in the end.

    OR, make one quilt one way then you'd have to make another done the second way. :P

    I like the second one better. Because it looks more like a flower. But they are both pretty.

    I'm a MIL. To me, the first one is pointed and straight lined, rather rigid. That's the message she may get.
    The second is softer, curvy, and feminine.
    What kind of a MIL is she? She should love that you made it just for her whatever you decide.
