I am scared of black! That is what the Girl at my LQS said!! Maybe I should try it and if I hate it I could always take it off!

YIKES!!! I'm not sure I would have the patience and stamina to undergo a postage stamp quilt. I absolutely love them but just not sure I'm up to the time it takes to do one. Thanks for sharing yours. It's beautiful!!!

Thanks Pab58,
It is really more simple than it looks. I just cut all of my scraps down to 2" squares and them sew them into 4 patches as leaders and enders, then I sew those 4 patches into 4 patches or 16 patches and then I sew those 16 patches into 64 patches.... ALL OF THEM are Leaders and Enders, so I'm constantly working on my Postage Stamp Quilt as I sewing! Its Great!

What a beautiful quilt. I love that scrappy look. I can't imagine sewing all those little squares. Great job. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful quilt. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I am in the process of making one of these with 2" finished squares. I,too, was wondering about what to add as a border. My son suggested black or white.

Great job. I think black would make it look terrific.

I love it. I'd try out a bright blue or a red.

I'm not exactly scared of black, but I just shy away from it for myself. I love the black, white and red or other color combinations--just not for me in quilts. I hesitate to wear black unless I can brighten it up around my face with color. I do think black would make the colors pop, but what about one of your favorite bright colors in the quilt with something darker for the outer border. When you have the combination you really like, then you know you have it.
