Default My quilt show of guys quilts

Hello Quilters! I have just finished my last Christmas quilt. Made 5 deer quilts for the men for Christmas. I picked up 2 panels at Quilts & Quilts when I went to Missouri. Then I had to buy 3 at a quilt shop about an hours drive away. I still needed another so I ordered a different panel online and got the coordinating fabric, so it would go faster. 1 King, 1 Queen, 3 Twins and another King for my nephew's birthday last week. The queen was made before October, but had to make the other 5 since October. I have quilting burn out. ..I feel like the nanny on Baby's Day Out when she had to read the same book over and over, she could just gag. If I am asked to quilt another deer quilt, I too, shall just gag!

This is King birthday present on their bed.Queen (90x100) like the King except for rust colored bricks are different.King window view(117x102)Twin 76x89 like the King except panel not cutTwin Twin I sure could have used tallchicks 3 yards of wildlife fabric she just gave away! That is exactly how much I used around the jumping deer panel. I had one small rectangle left. All the backs are the same fabric except the middle twin it had a gray leaf print.

I love the feeling of looking thru a window in a brick wall on the first two. They are all beautiful and I am sure they will be highly treasured.

Fantastic quilts and bravo for completing so many in such a short period of time, that had to be exhausting. These will be loved and treasured! I agree, that wildlife fabric would have been perfect.

Holy cow! I can understand why you are in quilt burn out mode. Take some time off, and hopefully your desire to quilt will come back again. If those guys don't absolutely love and cherish their quilts, then they have no idea how much work is involved in making one...let alone 5 of them.
