I think we are getting way too paranoid as a society and worry too much about everything. Don't you?
I think our government is taking away our own responsibilities to take care of our children. Where were they when ALL the paint used was lead based and we used our OWN choices as to the approprate age for the toys we gave our kids to play with. Not to mention the proper foods to FEED our kids. Most of us grew up to be intelligent, sensible, and all around good people. I'm not saying there wasn't accidents and stuff but we didn't blame anyone else for our own choices. Besides most parents are going to do their own thing anyway. And as to the obese children these days we couldn't afford the fast food places so the kids got good food and not an abundance of soda, cookies, and other snacks. Lots of excercise outside too cause there were not computers or DVDs either. Shame. We had no one to sue cause our kids or ourselves were overweight.
