    My rose quilt

One of my grandsons gave me these blocks for embroidery ...it took me many years to get all of them done. Then I finally put them together with some white and rose colored fabric. I did the quilting by hand. I have given away most of the quilts that I have made but this one I kept for myself. I use it the bed in my guest bedroom.

So Pretty! Can you post a close up of the blocks so we can see the details?

Hi and welcome to the board from Iowa (smile). Your grandson must be proud to see what a treasure his gift became. You did an awesome job. Thank you for sharing.

Perfect! Beautiful work! I have a friend who has made many of these quilts from stamped blocks and they are gorgeous!! Is this one a stamped block or did you design it yourself?
