This is my little piece of heaven. It is still a work in progress. And, yes, it is always this clean. The table my sewing machine is on is very low. I have a horrible problem with neck strain so my wonderful husband cut the legs off to make it lower for me. I made my ironing mat with instructions from this board. It is 30 x 48 inches. It works perfectly for all my projects. I have a cutting table with a bulletin board over it for any ideas I may get while I am in there. The window shade behind my machine I use for photos, they are my inspiration. I have a temporary design wall put up. I have another to take its place, but for now I do not want to remove my granddaughter's name from the wall. After all this used to be her mother's room. There is a closet in the room, but it is mostly used for storage for my grandchildren. Under the ironing and cutting table are totes full of fabric. The next project is to organize that.

I hope you enjoy seeing my sewing room. I know I love it!

I love your sewing room! It is so clean and tidy. That makes it very inviting.
    Thanks for sharing your space!

(You don't look anywhere near old enough to have a granddaughter!)

That's a very nice room. Doesn't it feel good to have a place where you can go and it's all your own!

Looks like you have a Bernina (440?) i

It is a Bernina 430. It came with the BSR and an embroidery module. The previous owner traded it in after having it for 3 weeks (she had only logged in 3 hours on it). So, I was able to get an incredible deal on it. I was originally going to purchase the 440, but the deal was too great to pass up. And it is a great machine.

I love your room! Can you tell us how your hubby cut your banquet table down? I use them too and they are so sturdy, just too high.

My husband used a hacksaw and cut them down where they turn down to the floor. I put the pvc pipe on each leg to make sure it was sturdy. It works great. Good luck and if you have any questions please ask!
