I attended a workshop by Pat Speth and started an ambitious quilt called "Prairie Gems". I thought I could finish it by Christmas, but..... So, I gave my sister a box of blocks and pieces and then took it back home with me. I finished it a week or so ago and thought I'd share it with you.

She is going to get years and years of enjoyment out of that beautiful quilt. The colors are timeless. Do you need more family? I could use one like that also!

She liked the blocks she saw at Christmas, but hasn't seen the finished product. Now I just need to get to quilting it. That could take until next Christmas. haha

Wow! That is gorgeous! And well worth a little wait time to get! But now that she's seen it in pieces, I expect the pressure is on to get it. Nice job! Lucky sister.

I love the quilt and I'm terribly jealous of your nice big floor to lay it down on! I wish I had that much floor space :)
