Awsome!
Welcome to the Quilting Board!
absolutely wonderful, I really enjoy seeing our children getting involved. A few years back My gd wanted to sew something, So she wanted to do a pillow case. and she had only done minor sewing before. I gave the girls, yes she got her cousin in on this too. I had them pick out fabric, gave my pattern and helped them get started and left the room, I was just one room over chatting with the adults . and they had more fun laughing and giggling. and they came out a couple hours later and they each had a pillow case. For 11 and 12 I thought they did a mighty fine job. I was happy they asked. Of course no gm I don't need any help, we'll call you when we do.
He's a natural! Love the stripe fabric.

wow... he did a great job... I love the colors.. what a neat looking quilt that is going to be. Be sure to show a pict of the final quilt.. lol.....
Awesome job, Dawn! Glad you have the patience for things like this! I just always wanted to do it myself and not have to deal with a kid doing something I wanted to do at the same time.
Excellent--I think he is very talented. Hope he continues to quilt--
He looks so proud of himself..and rightly so 'cause he's done a fantastic job!
Absolutely precious!
A "STAR" is born - both the handsome young man and the quilt block
Your son did an awesome job. I will have to show my grandson's 9 and 12 your son's pictures. They are going to be sewing rag quilts. They have used my sewing machine last year for school projects to sell for the school. We need more guys doing quilting. It's not an easy job, but the kids make look like nothing.
That is so AWESOME!! What a good job!
I think you better get a second machine. The kid is definitely a new quiltaholic in the making. He has the start to a very nice quilt. Way to go!
Your son did a marvelous job. Keep him doing it,
it is much more constructive than falling in with
the wrong crowd and is definitely QUALITY TIME.
