    I did choose the fabric my very limited stash. It is actually flannel. I didn't want to use stripes but it was what he picked. I just told him to line them all up the same way, I was suprised by how they came out.

    His next block it cut, marked and ready to sew. He wants to make a "pillow blanket." That is a blanket that is as fluffy as a pillow so it will keep him really warm.

    He did a great job. I taught my 3 Grandaughters also at that age and they all love to come and sew with me.

    Great job! One of my new year's resolutions is to make something with triangles. If he can do it, so can I!

    Great job!!!! Love to see the "next generation" interested in quilting, that means it will live on after we are gone.

    I think he's a super kid! I was explaining rotary cutting to my 9 year old grandson this week, we were watching Fons and Porter. My husband said to him "pretty boring isn't it?" Dgs, bless his heart, said "no, it's really interesting" I love to see kiddos interested in quilting!
