    First time doing applique and I am enjoying it very much. What a mess I am making though - pulling pieces out, using scraps and making more scraps. My colored coded shelves are now uncoded!! But....I am having fun.

    You would never know this is your first appliques. You are doing a fantastic job! I've downloaded the chickens, but I have never tried applique - it's on my list of to do's! I love your chickens!

    Thanks all. Never owned a chicken Loretta - city girl here. LOL Number 3 was actually the first one I did - kinda of copied the one on the chicken site. Have lots more to do to make a quilt though.

    Well I just love your blocks......so colorful.......and look at all the scraps you are finding.........great job............well after i get on a sewing spree and make a couple of blocks.....i have to re organize my stash again by color.......keep em comin.....
