That makes me sad. I wonder why her family didn't want to keep it. But I'm glad you were able to buy it. Only quilters know how much time and love goes into a quilt.

OMG! Under a hundred dollars. Honey you made a great deal. Cherish it. I am so happy it ended up in someones hands that can really appreciate it. It's such a shame that her own family didn't understand it's value. Wow! Nice find!

So glad you were able to rescue this quilt. When you are in your 90's, you don't always have family to inherit these kind of treasures.
