I love your quilt and went right away to watch the video. Now I have a question. If I understood correctly, you made two blocks then stack them and cut them diagonally, then sew them each together along the diagonal cut.
Why wouldn't you want to stack the two blocks and draw a line across the diagonal and then stitch a quarter inch from the line on each side and THEN cut them apart? That would save you from having to deal with sewing those bias edges, wouldn't it?
