Wow-beautiful. I have been wanting to do something with sunflowers for awhile- just didn't know what. I have lived in Canada (Ottawa x 5 yrs) and also have Kansas family roots. Does that qualify me for sharing this beautiful quilt? Anytime you get bored with it let me know.

Wow! I don't know if I'm more impressed with the front or how you ever got the lines straight on the back. Great job.

    refus2...
I did have fun matching up the pieces for the back - trying to match the stripes....when the quilt came back from Manquilter I couldn't find where my seams were so I think the matching worked ok :-).....I wanted it to not be too obvious......same for the front - I tried to have the check print lined up so that it wasn't too obvious where they joined..it's not perfect but it worked out pretty well..I am very pleased.....This was a fun quilt to make....just making up my mind from 1 block to the next - no patterns others than on-line instructions for some blocks..some blocks I just made up as I went..it was a blast....

Seems a lot of people love sunflowers :-)

    Quiltlady - you're certainly a percentage Canadian :-).......
