Another one done....I love this block. I love that I could go into EQ and make this a pp. It went together so well. I have it set under the first row.

Another block done. This one is called "Charmes". I couldn't find it in BB tho.

So far I have been squaring up the block on the Perfect Press tingy. It is made from foam and coverd with a ruled fabric canvas.

I noticed that a number of blocks had to be eased in. Thank God I didn't cut to square but just eased in.

I should have checked the Perfect P with the squared up ruler first. I found the PP to be 1/4 inch off on two side. I marked the new square with a sharpies and had to repress all the blocks I had already made, but it was ok, they came out to the size.

Lesson learned: always check the measurements with the correct ruler.

Thank you and oh yes I am really enjoying making these blocks. Some are a little edgy and I have to be careful, like the one I am working on now. Will post later.

Rosy, those look awesome. It will be a lovely quilt with great history whether one believes the stories or not (I do).

I have come to the conclusion dear that you do not eat, sleep, clean house, or any of the other day to day things we are to do because you are getting wayyyyyyyyyy tyoo many projects done. :-)

Your blocks are gorgeous. You are working fast. You will have your quilt done in no time.
I bought the kit to do E. Burns Underground Railroad about 4 years ago. I have yet to start it. But you are inspiring me to get going on it.
