It's coming along just fantastic. I can't believe how fast you are cranking this out. It's beautiful. Can't wait to see it finished. Keep up the good work.

I have come to the conclusion dear that you do not eat, sleep, clean house, or any of the other day to day things we are to do because you are getting wayyyyyyyyyy tyoo many projects done. :-)
hahahah you are right on the money. I dont' clean. Hubby takes care of that. I cook only and I cooked early today/ enough for two days. Hubby also does the laundry. He is doing his turn he says and is happy to keep busy as long as I feed him lol. I do a few things but I sew fast. Ive' sewed for 50 something years. I started at about 12 on my grandmothers treadle.....

I bought the kit to do E. Burns Underground Railroad about 4 years ago. I have yet to start it. But you are inspiring me to get going on it.

Oh do it, it is such a joy. I am doing Elinor's blocks too to add to the Barb Brackman ones that I'm doing.

My gosh! I just can't believe how fast you are cranking this quilt out. It's looking amazing. I'm so enjoying following the process. At the rate you are going you're going to be done with this in the next 3 days. I can't wait to see it finished. How exciting. I can only imagine how much fun you're having with it. Keep up the great work!!

Thank you QG. I am having fun. Maybe because the blocks are so big and come out so nice with the big patches. I thought I'd make extra blocks but I think the quilt will be big enough with the next two rows. The sashings are 5 inches so it will be a nice size.

Oh geeze, today was not a good day for me. I didn't get any blocks done. To begin with, I was having coffee with hubby in the parlor and my Molly jumped up on the seat with me and started licking my leg and when I looked down, I saw this big knot on the side of my shin about 5 inches up from my ankle.

I touched it and it was as hard as a rock and didn't hurt. Long story short. Hubby took me to the emergency clinic, I was worried it was a blood clot....exray etc.

The Doc said it looked like a bruise to him and to give it two weeks and if it doesn't go down then we need to follow up with MRI. He said I could have hurt myself and not even noticed being I am so busy lol.

I hope that's what it is. Notice I didn't go to ER because that would have entailed hours and thousands. I would have gone if it turned out wrong tho.

Then I went to see my dear MIL. She is 96 and not here for long. What an angel she has always been to me. I hear nightmare stories of MIL and mine was always so good.
