    "My Universe" quilt

I just finished this quilt for my 5 y/o grandson who loves space. I love how it turned out but I can not wait to see his face this weekend when I give him his quilt and a much smaller replica that I made without batting for him to cover up with at nap time in preK this year.

From what I can see it looks cute and what a terrific idea to make him the smaller version for preschool ! You sound like a cool grandma. Lucky grandson.

Wow! That is a way cute quilt! What a lucky little guy to be going to pre-K with that; He'll be king of the class!
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

OH my gosh I love your quilt! Do you recall the name of the fabric of space in the center? The way you made the center a circle and it looks like a planet is absolutely genius! I would really appreciate it if you can remember the collection or name of the fabric you used. Thanks so much.

This was a kit called "my universe". I will get the exact names of the fabric when i get home. I did alter the borders to be piano key verus what the pattern called for. Still worked great.
