Default My new sewing buddy

This is my 5 yr. old GGD she was cutting thread for me while I was doing some Red Work, she wanted to sew. So i drew a flower on material and threaded a large needle with double embroidery floss (12) strands and showed her how to do the stab stitch. Away she went now her stitches are very good. She also showed Mom's friend Mike how to do it. What a little Pro. I had so much fun with her.

She is just a cutie! If she's really good, how her a different stitch, maybe a chain stitch for the stem. Keep adding stitches and telling her how good she is. That's what worked for me. My grandmother taught me when I was young. The only thing, keep her first work for when she gets older. I wish my grandmother had kept mine, no matter how awful it might have been!
