    Wasn't quilting something that was all about repurposing objects that were no longer useful for the originally intended purpose? You've done a GREAT job with these, and it's a great way to practice FMQ.

    Great job. I have used sheets for my backing. I always pick really pretty sheets from the Thrift store and they have worked great and everyone asks where I got such pretty fabric ! I also made a lap quilt from a Waverly sheet and it turned out so pretty.
