What pattern block did you use? It is beautiful. I also am working on my first full (queen) quilt. It's a sampler quilt. The first one I made was the yellow brick road for a baby.

Holy Cow! I am WAY impressed! You totally rock girlfriend! I agree with others - I doubt this is your first attempt, I can hardly believe your hand quilting job - and I am totally awaiting your next project. (Glad you are hooked just like the rest of us). Thanks for sharing.

Hi Little Bear, Thank you very much, the pattern I used was a simple nine patch set on point, I think it only looks complicated becaused I fussy cut the flowers for the nine patch.

Hi Rein, This truly is my first attempt, I photographed the good end LOL, seriously I have been a sewer for 40 years I learnt from my Mother, my sewing history includes wedding gowns, evening wear, dolls, soft furnishings, curtains, etc etc etc so you can see I am a relatively experienced sewer but I had never ever attempted a quilt before!!!!!!
I am totally hooked now and already am saving scraps for the next one.

You did a nice job and have a good eye for color. You should be very proud. That's a great first quilt.
