Your DH knew it was made with love and he wants to continue that love. It might remind him of the times you were having when you made it each time he looks at it.

What a wonderful guy. He sure is a keeper. I'd keep my first quilt. My oldest DD is sleeping with it on her bed.

It's a treasure, and so's that hubby. I gave my first one away after quite a number of years. Trust me - it was worse than yours in a number of ways. It was not really quilted, but many badly made log cabin blocks were sewn down to a thick old blanket, and yes, there was a sheet used as backing - thoroughly puckered in every direction. I don't think I knew what a walking foot was at the time. The darned thing was very warm, and I kind of hope it's keeping someone warm now. Thank heaven it doesn't have my name on it!

He does. Anything I make him he likes. He doesn't care how much time it takes me to make stuff, and he tries his hardest to make sure that I have every thing I need to finish what I make. Sometimes I just have to wait but thats okay. :)
