I agree with the others. So sad that he felt no ties to this treasure & that he would sell it for $20.00 adding insult to injury.

Well I just posted this as I felt I was lucky to get this quilt, it may not be worth alot but it's still a beautiful quilt and I'm sure it's made with lots of love and time.

To think of all the soreness her tired fingers went through to make her son this awesome quilt and he sells it. I couldn't ever be that desperate to seel what my mother made for me. Some people just don't value sentimentality. But then, maybe he really needed the money, who knows. I shouldn't judge the man, still sad though.

Thanks ladies, I totaly agree. I do make quilts to sell but would not sell a special quilt made for me & I'm trying to make sure all my kids get a special one from me as well.
