Okay, I figured it out, I can't read apparently, which isn't surprising, I am about to press a bunch of HST's, and hopefully get them on the quilt in quick time.

I'm impressed. The only time I did a mystery was a disaster. You have inspired me to give it another go.

Cutebuns, yours is looking gorgeous. Love your purples - and the blue you chose for sashing is perfect.

I have to admit, I rarely do it when it is a mystery. First off, if I'm not liking it at all, I loathe working on it, stitch by stitch. Second, they have been known to sometimes have problems in the instructions - so I like to give them a chance to work the bugs out. Surprises in general aren't my thing.

In addition, I've hauled all of my fabric out from nooks and crannies and have started refolding, cutting in strips and squares, sorting by color, etc. It's unbelievable what a mess I have - but eventually, it's going to be so much easier to use. Right???

This one I like very much, and have printed the instructions (they are only on the site free for one day after it ends, I think - so if you are planning to do it, at least print it out for yourself).

i really like when quilts are made in all shades of one color. for me at least, they hold together well. and since i like purple (who doesn't? ) this one is coming up very pretty. how big will you make it?

    EDIT: where are the instructions?

I love the look of this, Cutebuns. I'm glad you are having fun with it, but is it frustrating not knowing what you're doing (the finished product....not your ability!   ) I've never done a mystery quilt. Maybe in my next life I'll have the time.

Woo hoo! I'm loving those purple fabrics. I can't wait to see the end of the mystery. I know it's going to be lovely. The sneak preview was great!

Here is the site, I think the instructions are only up for 24 hours after they are done,
