mystery quilt started

Here are a few more pictures, I am not sure if they expected anyone to do the sawtooth border in less than an hour, I am not capable of it that is for sure, I should have guessed that the pieces would make HST and had a head start on them. Alomst done, I think they just do one more border on it.

So here is the completed top. I am now trying to decide if I should try and quilt it tonight and bind it to see if I can actually do the whole thing (minus the cutting) in one day. Any suggestions?

Good luck getting it done. It is worth it.
TY Ducky, I have never done a pieced border and if it wasn't for this I would have avoided them a while longer, I am happy that it turned out so good as now I am more willing to do more. I will have to search pieced borders, I am sure there is a lot out there.

I have to admit, I rarely do it when it is a mystery. First off, if I'm not liking it at all, I loathe working on it, stitch by stitch. Second, they have been known to sometimes have problems in the instructions - so I like to give them a chance to work the bugs out. Surprises in general aren't my thing.
In addition, I've hauled all of my fabric out from nooks and crannies and have started refolding, cutting in strips and squares, sorting by color, etc. It's unbelievable what a mess I have - but eventually, it's going to be so much easier to use. Right???
This one I like very much, and have printed the instructions (they are only on the site free for one day after it ends, I think - so if you are planning to do it, at least print it out for yourself).

Next one I might just print out if it is the same company.

So I would like to thank you all for your kind words, I like how it turned out. I guess as well that it could have been the opposite and I could very well have hated it, chance you take doing a mystery quilt. I would like to do more of them. I liked the fact that I have the top done in a day, most of things that I pick out I don't or can't do in a day. When I started I started a lot more simple, if you have seen the last one I jsut finished that just isn't so any more. I tend to get carried away.
