Two child sized Quilts

I am sorry these pictures aren't very good. But, I wanted to share these with you all.
I wanted to make two quilts for my grand nieces that are just a couple years apart in age. I had these winter kids and snowmen embroidered blocks and the UFO log cabin blocks already made and thought... Hey.. Why not use the together? Which is what I did. One has a very dark teal outside border and the other has a purple so they can tell them apart.
I am thinking of using the dark purple and teal as the backings. I have enough to do that ... I think. LOL!
So what do you think? All of the embroidered blocks are different images.

If you don't have enough for the backing to match the outer border, just piece the backings with leftovers from the rest of the log cabins!
