From one Navy mom to another, super job! My son served on a submarine and I made him a quillow with patriotic pinwheels and pictures from his basic training graduation and family pictures. It had to fold small as submarines are very small and they share their bunk with two fellow sailors. He finished his service in 2009. Have fond memories of our visits to Connecticut.

It is absolutely Marvelous!... A word I don't ever remember using to describe a quilt before. I think it is such a gift, that no words can do it justice. You have made the bomb! Please thank your son and your family for the service he has given to his country!....

When I presented the quilt on July 25th, it brought tears to my son, DIL and my family that was there. My dad did not believe I made the quilt until I showed him pictures of all the stages.
