Love your quilt and the embellishments! You can go simple or fancy in your quilting. From meandering to swirls, loops and/or feathers! Good Luck and please post this beauty when quilted!

Here's my 2 cents worth... I probably would have a LA quilt vines &/or flowers all over it... not necessarily a panto but just meandering around. I don't blame you for keeping it. I've reached that place myself. I used to make all mine to give away & then I realized I was like the shoemaker's children... LOL! So now I give some away but make some for me, too. Please post this little gem again after you get it done, OK?

as a longarmer, I would say take the flowers and buttons off before sending it to a longarmer. Yes, they can quilt around, but most will charge extra to do this. You can add them back after quilting. If you are going to quilt it, you can go around the flowers yourself. As on how to quilt it?? many ways come to mind, something with curves to calm all of the straight lines. Maybe a feathered vine in the center. in the boarder echo the vine and shadow it in the oppisite corners.

I would so like to quilt it myself so I could say I did it all. BUT>>>Haven't mastered quilting. Just have done quilting in the ditch. maybe will just do that. Really have to see what it would cost to have it quilted first. That will really make me make up my mind LOL!!

Not sure how to quilt it but I do love your addition of flowers it just adds a nice touch. I'm sure someone who has more experience than myself could help you. Sue
