Yes, small yellow first and then wider red. Love the fabric. My DH is retired firefighter and your quilt is giving me thoughts on one for him. Be sure to post picture when you finish.

I'd suggest 2 narrow borders of yellow and red, then a wider border of black, with black binding.

yellow. The black makes the whole thing disapear and the red really doesn't compliment it.

Like that fabric. I would go with a very thin yellow border then a wider red one! Hope we see pics when your project is done!
