As I stated before, I am trying to use up fabric before I buy anymore so am arriving at some pretty unusual combinations. I had this lavender floral and thought it would make a pretty kaleidoscope (left the center block in original print so you could see the fabric). It will be 76 by 76 inches which is an odd size. Should I Add some of the dark green leafy fabric and add more to the length? The borders are going to be the lavender that is in the tiny squares. The sashing looks blue in the picture but it is actually purple.

Wow, very nice. You'd never know you were trying to use up fabric, purple and green... one of my favorite combos.

I love this! If you want to add more length, could you put another row of the squares with the flowers. I think if you just use the green fabric it will look like you're just adding more length. It's way too pretty to just settle for that. Beautiful color combo...beautiful job!!

I think you have it figured out nicely .. lots of green already so go for the splash if you have enough of the purples.. a beautiful quilt.

You could add more of the leaf fabric but it looks good just the way it is. The combination is great.

I think it looks beautiful the way it is. A 72" sq sounds great. Colors are fantastic

    I think it is lovely.
I would do just as you said to make it longer but a square is ok as well.
