    I love the setting of on point large square. I think a pattern to support this would be good. And then the black points of a star make another design worth supporting with quilting. Beautiful job.

    Tartan - Thank you for the great diagram. I usually end with at least one crease so hopefully this will prevent this and make it easier to move around.

    it's beautiful! I've done SITD but I did it like on a grid at an angle. I've been practicing with pillow tops. Harder than it looks.

    If you were hand quilting, I'd have an answer for you. But, I have not learned enough about machine quilting to be able to "read" the patterns yet. Maybe you could find some nice stencils and use them. When all else fails, Stitch in the ditch.
