I, too, would leave it.

Like some others have said, just fold the extra back under the pillows.

Or tuck it in at the foot of the bed.

I think it's beautiful!
Leave it the way it is.
Like someone else said, you can put the pillows over it. If you take the borders off of it, you might decide after it's all done, that you want them back on. Will be too late then.
Leave it alone and finish it. Then if you REALLY don't like the way it is, let me know, I'll give you my addy. :) :)

it makes so little difference, i'd leave it on. you can always tuck it under the pillows a bit.
