    You did a a great job.
    The best advice I can give is watch or buy Eleanor Burns, Quilt in a Day.
    She goes into much more detail than other teachers. She even tells you which way to press your seams. She uses the simplests methods.
    If your blocks are not quite the right size dont worry just use the size you made and adjust the sashing to fit. Even Eleanor admits her blocks are not always the size they are susposed to be.

    I think it looks just fine. Nice colors & seams match. You're ready to go. I do agree it is a good idea to make a sample block.

    I am going to practice the block. I already have it cut and will start piecing it tonight - I hope!

    Looks really nice to me. Your seams meet perfectly, as far as I can see. I like the pattern, too.
