    I'd say move some of the lavender fabric further apart. Also move one of the blocks out and away from your complete circles in the corners, so each of those has only 3 of the pieced blocks to make up the 3/4 circle. Doing this will give you another 3/4 circle to place somewhere. This way you'll have more movement happening, because the blocks will look more layered.

    I like the 2nd layout, because it covers all the corners. I agree about taking pictures to help you decide. Otherwise, you could spend the rest of your life moving blocks around!
