    I think that if you are going to continue the theme with the black in the middle it will look great even with the stripes because they have purple that pulls it together. It all depends on what you are planning to do with it as a whole. I'd worry about the borders later. Just a thought. 8)

    and i like how some of the squares look like a cross...if it is crosses, it is beautiful, the stripes...by His stripes we are healed

    You know, i experience a lot of darkness sometimes, but i have to tell you, i have never seen darkness looking as beautiful as you have made it seem there. The colours are so pretty, and ive never seen darkness looking so happy. That is very beautiful Henry, and a beautiful title for your quilt.
