    I agree the stripes just don't go with the rest of the quilt. I'd take out the stripes and put a black border then a scrappy border. I think that the stripe block just draws your eyes there and takes away from the rest of the quilt

    Well I am leaving it in there because it was part of the original design and something tells me it is just meant to be in there. But it will not be joined by any others.

    (this sounds crazy but i had a dream last night where i was told to leave it in)

    Henry there was a post on here a few days ago that says "You know you are hooked when...." I think you should write you know you are hooked when you actually have a dream telling you what to do with your quilting project..... :D

    I think the quilt looks fine. I am with you the stripe makes it look wonky but I don't blame you for wanting to change what is already done. Remember every piece we do is a stepping stone a step closer to a pro.
