I am very pleased with how this came out. :D It took hours to quilt just this little bit. The apples and horseshoe ideas weren't needed afterall. There's no quilting in the sky or the red outside border, but I like it that way. It lays very flat. It's stitched in the ditch most of the way in the red around the horses.

The binding is just pinned. Hanging sleeve is on the back!

The 2nd one has the barn and stippling in black done. I'll finish it later.

Thanks for all your suggestions my previous post asking for help! I couldn't have done this without you. ;)

I really like what you decided to do-beautiful job. The horses mouths look real (I think--I've never been close to a horse). Love your work.

Oh gosh--thank you so much. I agonized for days--a week--about how to do those mouths. :|

Oh no I didn't. The stretching was painful and elastic--it snapped back to where it was. My comfort zone longs for squares and rectangles for a long long while. Unfortunately I need to work on Splash of Fall--which is all triangles. Sigh.... maybe I should finish the second floral log cabin doll quilt instead. :D
