While the patterns look really nice, the end result could be much better with alternate processes for cutting and piecing, that did not result in the outside bias...............
Really like the looks of your quilt!!!

I totally agree Shorebird, you said exactly what I have been trying to communicate. Thanks so much for summarizing for me. I am a season quilter, and knew going in that it would be a challenge, and I spent a good bit of money for the layer cake and two border fabrics. (It is a wedding gift.) My whole reason for even posting this thread is for others to be aware of the results you will get every time you work with bias. (Yes I starched).
