So living overseas adds great oppourtunites...I enlisted a furniture store to create my first sewing desk. They have done a great job for only $450!!! I am thrilled to have something larger to quilt on. Enjoy the pics:)

Good looking piece of furniture.
I like how the machine sits off center tho the right. Most machine cabinets have the opending for the machine dead center and make me have to lean to the left to be in front of the machine while sewing.

Awesome. Now you can really have some room for sewing. Good job. Didn't know you could get a furniture company to do that. Nice to know.

Take advantage of being overseas. There are things that can get done or fabricated real inexpensive.
