Wow, some great ideas there and a great looking quilt, too!
I made a quilt a few years ago using interior designer fabric samples. It's a great source for matching fabrics, color-wise.

I always use it in my sewing room
and I just have my quilting friend help me sandwich quilts

The quilt is very beautiful. I haven't tried the glue basting yet myself but I think I'm going to.

I also have those tips, and they work wonderfully. Thanks for the tip about the warm water; that is a great idea.

Fabulous quilt but thank you thank you thank you for your idea about the two tables and bed risers (available at my local Goodwill store!!) I have major problems with my back and trying to put a quilt together on my floor is excruciating! I'm going to get two tables and risers, thanks to YOU!!!

Love your idea about the tables & bed risers. I've gone to the local Senior Center & they've let me use their table for pin basting my quilts. The bed risers would make that even easier. Your quilt is absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing all your info & talents with us.
