the black puts more emphasis on the colors, but I like them both.

The pattern is called hidden wells. It is a very easy but at the same time very hard looking it is really fun to to play with.

I will take one of each! They are both lovely, just different emotional responses. First is bold, second is calming.

what do you want your quilt to convey? go with that one
