Thanks.
I shopped my stash for the fabrics. It is hard to see but the orange has pumpkins on it.

It is very easy. I made this little quilt yesterday. I had purchased flannel on sale.I use it as batting in table runners and small quilts. It occurred to me when I laid it out on my cutting table,---- why not use it as batting AND the back fabric. One of those light bulb moments. I cut both batting and back at the same time, wrong sides together. No taping down,(the back fabric) just pinned the quilt top on to both .Ready to quilt.judy j
I made one similar to this last year. It was called Paddle Wheel. It looked like an inside out log cabin. There were more pieces in each quarter section. I found it very difficult to get those corner seam to be in the corner, since they are all on the bias, and the bigger they are, the more they move around like a horse's tail. I made marks on my ironing board, lined them up carefully, and starched them to keep them straight. Worked!
