Good Job. This pattern seems like a simple pattern made complicated. I am printing the pattern but haven't decided on using it yet. If I do I may just go scrappy and make the blocks. Your color selections are right on, I know it will look great!

I love how she figured out all the cutting so it could be done at one time, in advance. Then you can put the excess fabrics away and just sew, week by week.

This is beautiful. I just signed up and downloaded the BOW Irish Stars. Now, to add to my "stash" of things to do.

love your color choices and I'm impressed by the use of your stash. I signed up and downloaded everything but have not chosen fabrics (which will all come from my stash). I have a month to make door prizes for a quilt group's holiday party and have 2 Quilts of Valor to get done before New Year's Eve. Keep us posted on your progress. I'm sure your quilt will be stunning.

Thanks for posting this. I missed the first week so I purchased them and then had trouble opening them because of some sort of problem my computer has. Hubby isn't able to figure out what's causing it, but they were nice enough to send the links to my email address.
You fabric choices are so pretty. I just hope that I am able to start them soon.
Thanks again.

I hope so too, quiltinglady-1. The hardest task is all the cutting you do up front. But that makes it so much quicker and easier to sew later on.

I am doing the quilt also, only I'm making mine throw size instead of the large one. I'm doing modified scrappy on the background, but the rest is as suggested on the color key. I did have to buy the orange piece because I had no orange in my stash. The rest is stash shopping. I had a pale peach which is in this photo, bottom left, but I did replace that one with a more orange fabric.
I'll attach photos of my fabrics and my first week of blocks.
